This archive is built from the “Brand-Backed Open Source and Public Design Systems” report, October 2026 (v2, gap-audited) edition.
- Verification
- “Verified” means the exact Figma Community URL was confirmed. “Linked from docs” means the brand's docs link an official file. “Not confirmed” means no official Community file was found, though the brand may share one through its docs.
- GitHub links
- Links point to the official organization's main repo. Check a repo before you rely on it.
- Logos
- Logos are GitHub organization avatars, or the favicon of the official domain.
- Component counts
- Counts are approximate unless the source gives a number.
- Status
- Active, Limited maintenance, Archived or Not public, based on each repo's README and the report's notes.
What changed in v2
- 16 notable systems were missing, including several of the most widely used enterprise systems:
- Missing cross-cutting resources. Added a section on design system directories, token tooling (Style Dictionary, Tokens Studio, DTCG), Figma Code Connect / MCP, and systems that now ship AI agent resources (llms.txt, skills, MCP servers).
- Figma updates. Polaris and Adobe Spectrum 2 notes updated; Cloudscape, Calcite, Forma 36, Astro, DSFR and SGDS all have official Figma libraries.
